LISA BOWMER - DIRECTOR

A holder of a B. App. A (Dance). B. Ed degree from the University of New South Wales. Lisa studied in Sydney with the Ansell Academy of Dance, before going freelance and studying under a number of prominent Australian and International choreographers. In 1995, Lisa was accepted into the London Contemporary School of Dance.

Lisa is the Director of Dance Kinetic School of Performing Arts that has been operating successfully for 10 years. Lisa has trained many dancers, with past students working professionally both in Australia and Overseas. As an 8 yr educator, she has also had excellent Dance HSC results with students being placed in the top 1% of the state.

Lisa has a passion for choreographing. She choreographed for the 2002 season of ‘Bodies’, and also choreographs for the Australia Day production, ‘Opera in the Park’, working with prominent entertainers including Peter Cousins and the Ten Tenors. Lisa has toured America and London with a select group of students, furthering and broadening their knowledge of dance. She has taught at many Regional and State dance camps and is in demand for her choreography and teaching expertise.
